OK yes of course there is loads of bed linen out there which is covered in his favourite characters and whilst I definitely want him to like it obviously, I would also like to know he won't kick up a stink when he's bored of said character being on his duvet and onto another fave in a month or so's time. Quality is also really important to me too, there's a lot of cheap bed linen out there especially in the children's ranges and after a few washes they just feel horrible. My son is an absolute fusspot and loves to have a soft cosy bed too so it's worth searching out something that suits everyone.
Fortunately we have been helping Feather & Black recently testing out some of their products. You may know them primarily for bedroom furniture. They have a great childrens beds range in particular, we got the chance to try the Noah Toy Box, see earlier post, which is a fantastic toy storage solution, and at the same time looks really smart, so smart in fact we've moved it downstairs from the kids bedroom so we can look at it even more!
We were very pleased then to receive a single duvet cover set from Feather & Black to try out, we chose the Cars Linen design from the Boys range of which there is a great selection. Nearly all are designs that will grow with children into teen years at least in terms of likeability for them. Especially as the quality is so good too (it is 100% cotton fabric and has a 200 thread count which feels great). Here's a brief reaction from my son on seeing his new covers:
Night night messageBig winner for us this bed linen. Look forward to choosing some for my daughter very soon, I have my eye on this Apple linen range for her:
